The ecomuseum of the territory “between the Churches, the Tartar and the Osone” established under the regional law 13/2007, groups together a splendid territory made of nature, agriculture, churches, palaces, towers, mills and high-level productive activities . In it were born great figures of culture, work and spirituality that have made an indelible impression on our way of life.
The Ecomuseum stands on the initiative of the municipal administrations of Piubega and Casaloldo in March 2009 and after a period of intense work on the study of ecomuseums and the search for new bodies that would allow the enlargement of the territory and the ecomuseum heritage.

In 2011 it was extended to the Municipalities of Castel Goffredo, Casalmoro, Redondesco, Gazoldo degli Ippoliti, Ceresara, Marianna Mantovana and the Parishes of Castel Goffredo, Gazoldo degli Ippoliti and Casaloldo. In the year 2012 it is extended to the municipalities of Ceresara and Mariana Mantovana and in the year 2013 to the municipality of Asola
